Realeyes started at Oxford University in 2007. Born as a technology pioneer, we became the first company to measure users via webcams at internet scale. Today, we’re building the global standard for human verification. The Realeyes SDK now executes over 1 billion calls each day, more than any other biometric or Vision AI company.
We’ve treated Responsible AI as a requirement, not a buzzword, since day one. It started with the consent frameworks we built to measure human attention for the world’s largest ad platforms. We did this years before regulation caught up. As a result, we built the largest GDPR-compliant, in-the-wild video dataset in the industry. Specifically, we use that data, drawn from over 18 million webcam sessions. It powers the market’s most reliable face verification, age estimation and deepfake detection models.
Our clients are the world’s most demanding enterprises and consumer apps. Simply put, they come to us because we handle the hard stuff. That means the strictest legal requirements, the heaviest tech stacks and hyper-scale complexity. We’re headquartered in Europe, but we operate globally. Our partnerships range from long-standing US Big Tech relationships to strategic investment from Japanese corporates.
Notably, we previously raised $45m in VC funding. Today, we’re self-funded and focused on one goal: scaling human verification worldwide. In fact, we want to enable a trillion more genuinely human interactions every year. Ultimately, that’s a milestone we expect to reach within just a few years.
