Colors

Our Primary Colors

Asphalt and Mint Green are the official Realeyes colors and our colors are part of what makes us visually distinctive. They should always be represented with the following hexadecimal color values, to ensure consistency across all applications.

We use Asphalt rather than black. Mint is used as an accent color and used sparingly. Use the Kubrick “60-30-10 color ratio principle” – this approach to color distribution brings harmony and focuses viewer attention on key elements.

Font

Lexend Deca

Lexend is a Licence Free, Open Source Google font, specifically created to improve reading proficiency.

It is based on the theory that hyper-expansion, which involves expanding the spacing between and within letters using specific sans-serif fonts and scaling, leads to a measurable improvement in reading speed and comprehension.

We only use Regular and Bold families to maximize consistency and minimize decisioning when creating documents and presentations.

Imagery

Our imagery keeps a real person at the center, usually in a verification or fraud prevention scenario. Frame the face with four rounded corner brackets, like a camera viewfinder, to show verification in action.

Video

Like with imagery our videos typically feature a person in an account verification scenario with their phone and the framing device signifying success.

Animation

Our animations are moving diagrams: simple, rounded line icons in light grey on white, with green reserved for the active element. Motion is minimal and each step introduces one idea.
